Frequently Asked
Most games require you to manually enable or trigger the Amiibo function within the game. For example:
The Legend of Zelda series: You must enable the Amiibo feature in the game settings and select the Amiibo module using the Sheikah Slate/Ultrahand before scanning.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons: To invite villagers, you need to visit the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services and select 'Invite a Camper' before scanning.
In the event of an occasional system freeze, please try force-restarting the device. Usually, you just need to press and hold the Power button for 10 to 15 seconds until the screen turns completely black, then short-press the Power button to turn it back on. This will not cause your Amiibo data to be lost. If freezing occurs frequently, please refer to the previous instructions to upgrade to the latest firmware.
Yes! You can use a third-party NFC app (like TagMo) on your phone, select the 'Read Tag' function to scan your physical figures, and save the data as a .bin file. Then, simply transfer these files to the corresponding folders on your emulator. This allows for digital backup and centralized management of your physical collection—you only need to carry one emulator when you go out.
